OSCA will not be taking applications for the Emerging Leader Program for 2025. As we make our transition into policy governance and implement new board and operation structures/policies, the association would like to assess the role that the Emerging Leader Program may be able to play moving forward and make the necessary adjustments to ensure a positive and productive expereince for furture Emerging Leaders. Thank you for your understanding and patience. The Emerging Leader Program is an opportunity for OSCA to identify potential leaders who get an introduction to service on the board. OSCA emerging leaders attend board meetings, assist with committees and learn the ins and outs of the organization. Up to five (5) emerging leaders are selected each year. Criteria: To serve as an emerging leader, one must Responsibilities: Emerging leaders must serve a term of two years with expectations of completing the following responsibilities: Benefits: OSCA emerging leader(s) will receive the following benefits: Application Process: Individuals interested in becoming an Emerging Leader must complete an online application. Applications generally open late fall each year and a committee will review all applicants and select Emerging Leaders each year. |
