In order to obtain a school counselor license through the Ohio Department of Education, one must earn a passing score on the Ohio Assessments for Educators (OAE) School Counselor Test #040. The passing score needed is a 220. The OAE is a 180 minute long, computer-based test consisting of 150 multiple-choice questions.
