Join OSCA on November 28, 2023 for "The State of the School Counseling Profession" professional development event. During the day, attendees will get an overview of current legislation impacting the profession, learn about school counselor leadership and advocacy, and have an opportunity to meet their state legislators to discuss important issues for school counselors and students in Ohio.
The event will take place at the Ohio Education Association Building located at 225 E. Broad Street in Columbus. The event begins at 9:00AM and runs to approximately 4:00PM. Note that the formal event will wrap up around lunch time with legislator appointments happening at various times throughout the afternoon.
The cost of the event is $25 and space is limited to the first 60 registrants. If the event is full, a limited number of registrants will be able to go on a wait list. Breakfast snacks and a boxed lunch will be provided. Registration closes on November 14.
A complimentary 2023 ASCA conference registration (in-person in Kansas City or virtual) and ASCA membership door prize will be given away to two lucky attendees.
