Finding Balance: Incorporating Mindfulness, Yoga and Breathing into Your Daily Life
Description: This presentation provides an introduction to mindfulness, yoga, and breathing techniques. It aims to educate participants about the benefits of these practices for stress reduction, improved mental and physical well-being, and overall balance. The presentation will cover the basics of each practice, including techniques and examples, and offer guidance on incorporating them into daily life and how to introduce them to students.
Presenter Information: Jessica works as an elementary school counselor at Ohio Virtual Academy. In her work, she teaches students the benefits of being mindful and ways to gently stretch their bodies. She also offers yoga to staff in an effort to help reduce stress, improve focus and flexibility and boost energy. Jessica has completed her 200 hour yoga teaching certification and 300 hour yoga certification through the Yoga and Ayurveda center.
Additional Information: Pre-registration is required and will be open through the end of the day on May 6. A Zoom meeting link will be emailed out to all registrants the day before the workshop. A CE certificate will be emailed to those in attendance after the event.
