OSCA Counselor Educator of the Year Award Application

OSCA awards provide an opportunity for the association to recognize and show appreciation for the accomplishments of school counselors, counselor educators, administrators and legislators across Ohio. 

The OSCA Counselor Educator of the Year Award recognizes a counselor educator who has made a significant contribution to the school counseling profession and impact on pre-service school counselor students. Nominees for this award do not have to be members of OSCA, but the person submitting the nomination does have to be an OSCA member.

Deadline: Award applications are only accepted from January thru April 30 of each year. Award recipients will be recognized at the 2025 Ohio School Counselor Conference on October 16, 2025.

Note: Applicants will be asked to upload a letter of support describing the contributions the nominee has made to the school counseling profession and pres-service school counseling students.
