OSCA Advocate of the Year Award Application

OSCA awards provide an opportunity for the association to recognize and show appreciation for the accomplishments of school counselors, counselor educators, administrators and legislators across Ohio. 

The OSCA Advocate of the Year Award recognizes an individual, agency, business, or association that has promoted and/or supported the Ohio school counseling profession in a meaningful and impactful way. Nominees for this award do not have to be members of OSCA, but the person submitting the nomination does have to be an OSCA member.

Deadline: Award applications are only accepted from January thru April 30 of each year. Award recipients will be recognized at the 2025 Ohio School Counselor Conference on October 16, 2025.

Note: Applicants will be asked to upload a letter of support describing how the nominee has promoted or supported the school counseling profession.
