    Overview

    Join our team at psi! After 45 years of service in hundreds of schools our professional community continues to expand. We have a few positions in several different types of schools that are highly sought after. Some of our positions are part time and others full time. We are also proud of our pay arrangements which include a variety of benefit programs, scheduling flexibility and different opportunities to teach your way with students from all socioeconomic levels. 

    Our hourly pay starts at $25 per hour. 

    This position is for a parochial school in Parma for 14 hours per week. The ideal candidate would have experience in art therapy. 

    Responsibilities

    We believe in a child centered focus allowing our School Counselors to collaborate with other staff and to design programs that work for both you and the student. Innovation and creativity are prized at psi. Design a program that works for you!

    This position is split between two Montessori schools located in Huntsburg and Concord for 3 days per week. The ideal candidate needs to be able to support individuals in mental health, organization, provide teacher support, promote mindfulness, relaxation, meditation, and is willing to spend time outside during the day.

This has only heightened the need for an accessible care solution for students with learning, physical, and thinking differences. 

    psi has an opening for a qualified School Counselor in the Parma area. This position is currently 35 hours per week. We are seeking a School Counselor to help serve children who have educational and developmental needs. The position is effective beginning in the 2022-2023 school year. 

    At psi, we are focused on providing quality and consistent services in order to create wonderful opportunities for our students. psi offers high quality, flexible and unique programs. For over 40 years, we have been the largest educational provider in the Midwest.

    Responsibilities

    Your mission as a School Counselor is to deliver high-quality and dynamic counseling across educational settings. You evaluate children across grade bands in order to obtain the information necessary for planning and consultation to develop plans that help meet the functional and educational needs of each child served. 

    Essential Functions

    • Deliver dynamic, engaging, and enjoyable counseling sessions to our students.
    • Maintain an atmosphere that is conducive to growing and learning.
    • Prepare and update materials, handouts, and lesson plans based on students goals.
    • Participate in staff meetings, professional development courses, and other internal or psi led meetings.
    • Effectively communicate with school administrators and other staff members regarding students, site, instruction, or any issues that impact the performance of the students. 

    Qualifications

    • Experience: Counseling - 1 year (required)
